2018 Men's Lenten Prayer Group
Looking for a Few Good Men
Lenten Men’s Prayer Group
Tuesday Evenings 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Beginning February 27th, 2018
Using the Little Black Book of the Diocese of Saginaw’s daily Lenten prayer book, reflections based on the passion according to Mark, meeting in the home of a parishioner, you are invited to join a small group of men to discuss the daily Lenten readings. Every Tuesday evening at 7 pm to 8 pm, starting February 27th, join 10 to 20 men who want to explore more in prayer.
Lead by an experienced layman leading prayer groups, each man will have a chance, if he wishes, to comment on one or more of the daily prayers, or just listen to what other men have to say. There will be no cross talk while a man wants to express himself, if he desires. Plus, no sub group chatter, two or more men talking by themselves and not the group.
Each of six meetings will foster views of Jesus and what He expects of each of us as men, and hopefully what each can do to achieve this. The home setting, also nurtures, a more relaxed and open environment.
Please RSVP to Mike Moebs by email, Mike@Moebs.com, or phone, 847-274-6284. Space is limited to no more than 20 men.
