public display of our faith
at first ever
Families, individuals and members of our parish groups, more than 220, enjoyed sunny weather and a reverent celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi at our first ever outdoor Eucharistic procession on Sunday, June 6. Also known as the Body and Blood of Christ, the 800-year-old Feast honors Jesus’ REAL PRESENCE in the Eucharist. Heartfelt thanks to all those who participated and especially to members of the Immaculate Heart Bible Study for their donation of the magnificent ceremonial canopy, the Circle Apostolate’s leadership and our choir.
The procession brought us all together to publicly display our love of Christ and acknowledgement that the Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. We look forward with grateful anticipation to our second annual Corpus Christi Mass and procession in 2022. Thank you everyone.
