We begin by coming to the well.  Jesus is about to meet the Woman of Samaria; the Woman is about to meet Jesus of Galilee.  They do not yet know what a deep encounter this will be.  This is an overnight retreat giving ourselves time to enter into the mystery of that meeting, of conversation that mysteriously opens up, of blessed encounter.
