2016 Christmas Program

St. Patrick Church, Women's Group logo

The Women’s Group of St. Patrick Church hosted another successful Christmas Luncheon on Friday 12/09/16.  The event started out with a live musical performance of Deerpath Middle School Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Sarah Truding. The group of 7th and 8th graders put on a very professional performance as they played their renditions of popular Christmas carols.

This was followed by a riveting performance by Lynn Rymarz as Eleanor Roosevelt. Lynn took on Mrs. Roosevelt’s persona expertly to narrate her life story. The tables were peppered with Mrs. Roosevelt’s quotes-all very inspirational.

Bizzie McCarte and Mariann Gregory generously donated homemade baskets to raffle off for funds toward the WG.

Sally Willis represented the Esperanza Project, selling original art handmade cards that sold out!

Chef Dave prepared a wonderful meal of succotash, mashed potatoes and honey mustard glazed chicken breast topped off with Texas chocolate cake. A meal fit for a First Lady!

It was a wonderful morning of friendship, camaraderie and fun! We hope to see old friends and new at next year’s luncheon!

Merry Christmas!
