Bread Delivery to the Food Pantry
Mondays and Tuesdays at 9 am
Two Dominick’s Grocery Stores donate bread items to the Food Pantry in Waukegan. On Mondays, the Dominick’s in Lake Bluff (at Waukegan and 176) has bread ready for pick up at 9 am. On Tuesdays, both the Dominick’s in Lake Bluff and the one in Vernon Hills (on Hwy 60, just north of Hawthorn Mall) have bread items ready for pick up at 9 am. The bread is picked up from the Bakery area at the store at 9 am and then is taken to the Food Pantry in Waukegan at 8th and Lincoln. If you are picking up later than 9 am, please call the Dominick’s and let them know what time, otherwise, they may throw out the bread items. One volunteer can do both pick ups on Tuesday or it can be separated into two volunteers.
