St. Patrick Church Garden Club

 

The Garden Club was formed a few years ago with a vision to enhance the natural surroundings of St. Patrick Church. The majority of work is done on the garden outside the New Church located in the circle.  Over the years, committee members have planted perennials enhanced by annuals.  We would like to achieve a garden that is a majority of perennials enhanced by annuals.

 

There are currently about six members in the Garden Club but we welcome more members. No experience is needed, only the joy of gardening is required!

 

The Garden Club meets a few times a year.  Once in the spring, a few times in the fall and winter.  During this time, we work on the garden, plant new flowers, weed and plant new flowers, weed and plant pots outside the new church, old church and Father Dunn’s house.

 

Our vision is to take on new areas on the grounds of St. Patrick’s and enhance them with flower beds and possibly statues or benches for parishioners to enjoy!
