Clothing Distribution to The Center

Clothing Dristribution.jpg

Distribution is every Monday and Thursday between 9 am and 1 pm.  We do not deliver in November and December due to our Thanksgiving Food Drive and Christmas Sharing Tree activities.

A volunteer drives to St. Patrick Church and loads the items from the donation area into his/her car. The volunteer drives the donations to the Community Service Center located at 8th and Victory in Waukegan.  Volunteers at the Center will assist in unloading the donations.  The entire process takes about 1 hour.

Acceptable donations include clothing, linens, gently used books, toys and games for children and small household items.  All clothing and linens must be clean and all items must in good and usable condition.

Holy Family is limited on extra storage space, so only the current season’s clothing is needed.  Donations of warm weather clothing are accepted from Easter until the end of August.  Donations of cold weather clothing are accepted in September and October, and again from January through Easter.

If you have large itmes in good condition, please call Emma Villanueva at the Pantry 847-623-2112 to ask if the item is needed and for delivery options.
