Friday, September 12: Opening Mass, Tour, Lunch at Holy Family       

Join us at 9:20 in the morning as we kick off our Year of Service with Father Gary Graf and a mass at Holy Family Church. After our mass we will receive a  tour of  the Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry, followed by lunch in the Soup Kitchen until 1:15 pm.  A guided bus tour will be provided from St. Pat’s.

Saturday and Sunday, September 27th & 28th: Winter Coat Drive

 Join us as we gather warm clothing, including hats, coats, jackets, mittens and sweatshirts in conjunction with the EDGE Program.

Friday, October 10: Ladies' Night Out

Join us from 5:00 to 9:00 pm for an evening out with the ladies. This popular event is a great opportunity to shop with your friends and get a head start on your Christmas list! Shop for unique items from dozens of vendors displaying jewelry, accessories, home decorations and more. Enjoy some appetizers and perhaps a glass of wine while socializing with members and friends.

Tuesday, November 11: Evening Wine & Cheese Book Bazaar

Just in time for the holidays, gather for a private book review at the Lake Forest Bookstore, located at 680 N. Western Avenue in Lake Forest. The store owner will review and recommend dozens of books covering a variety of topics and genres while you enjoy a glass of wine and a light snack. This is a great opportunity to handpick a winner for that special person on your shopping list.

Thursday, November 20: Sewing Group’s Christmas Boutique

Come to the O’Gara Activity Center from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm to purchase unique Christmas items like dolls, ornaments, placemats and more. All items are handmade by the Sewing Group. Fresh baked goods are also available for purchase. The proceeds of this annual event are donated to charity.

Sunday, November 23: Thanksgiving Food Drive

Friday, December 5: Megan Wells Christmas Event

Award winning theater artist and playwright Megan Wells presents the story of  “The Nativity through the eyes of Joseph.”  A light lunch will be provided. Watch the Women’s Group’s newsletters and Sunday Bulletins for more details.
