Ladies,

As you are reading through the website, we hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer and looking forward to the beginning of autumn. As we think of autumn, we are pleased to present our Program Year (2009-2010) to you and invite you to participate with us as we focus this year on Faith. The year will begin with our Opening Mass and Brunch at our parish on Friday, September 25, 2009 with Father Patrick McGrath, a Jesuit and a wonderful speaker, who will be speaking on practical living with our Catholic Faith.

In addition, we hope you will notice we have added some new programs this year that we think you will find very interesting and a lot of fun! We encourage you to participate where and when you can. We are always looking for volunteers for many of our events, so please when you are completing the enclosed Annual Membership form please indicate any interest you may have in helping.

Through the years, the Women’s Group has provided funding and support for many parish and outreach projects that we are very proud to be associated with. As in the past, this past year has been no exception. Please take a few minutes to review the support we have provided so that you are aware of all the contributions of the Women’s Group of St. Patrick Church. It is an honor to serve with all of you!

Before we start our year, we would like to invite any member of the Women’s Group to attend at anytime our Women’s Group Board meetings.  We meet the first Wednesday of the month, times will vary based on the month so please look on the parish website under the Women’s Group for times or ask any board member.

Last, evolving with the times, the Women’s Group is “Going Green!” Please note we will be mailing a Welcome Brochure in Early September which will include a Membership Form, for your convenience. One is also available on this website.  Going forward, all correspondence will be through e-mail, the website and weekly bulletins. We will continue to print copies for those who prefer a hard copy versus the e-mail. Again, we are excited for this year and we encourage all of you to travel with us as we explore, share, and grow our Faith!

Yours in Faith, Friendship, & Service,

The Women’s Group of St. Patrick Church
