Welcome!

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our faith community.  Most people who become Catholic do so because of a sacramental experience beginning at infancy or because of the testimony, deeds, and encouragement of someone they trust.  And that is part of our mission at St. Patrick’s – helping people experience God.  It is the power of God’s love that makes us children of God, transforms us, and inspires us to live as God’s people in our world.

The Church teaches that all people are created by God and share the same need for forgiveness, hope and healing.  Jesus broke through the barriers and brokenness in the world to reach out to all.  In that spirit, St. Patrick’s seeks to reflect the love of Jesus with a welcoming spirit./files/Images/Jh155c.jpg

Ultimately, nothing can separate anyone from the love of God in Christ Jesus.  We all belong to Christ.  He joined us to himself by his birth, death, and resurrection.  In this great paschal mystery, our hearts were made Christ’s forever.  We are, in short, now a part of the body of Christ, no matter what.  Being the church, the body of Christ, is more than just showing up on Sunday.  The Bible says we are “ambassadors for Christ” (2 Cor. 5:20).  Being an ambassador is a 24/7 job!  “Go out to the highways and hedgerows and make people come in that my home may be filled” (Luke 14:23).

Being an inviting person and welcoming church isn’t something that just “happens.”  It is something we must intentionally work toward.  Let’s set our minds and hearts on being a welcoming and inviting parish.  We invite you to attend one of our Eucharistic celebrations (Mass) and encourage you to be a part of what is happening within the life of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.  Explore our website and if you find something that interests you – give us a call.  We want to hear from you!
