Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

The RCIA is a process for anyone who:

         Has never been baptized,

Is baptized in another denomination  and is considering becoming a Catholic,

Is baptized Catholic, but has never received Eucharist or Confirmation,

Is Catholic and interested in strengthening their faith

Each person has a unique experience of God’s love and call in their lives. The RCIA Inquiry sessions help people on their journey of faith. For those wishing to continue, additional sessions reflect on scripture readings and various topics of faith. Initiation into the Catholic faith takes place in the spring at the Easter Vigil, with a few follow up sessions afterward.

Topics for the Inquiry Phase are:

RCIA Process, and what God means to us

Sign of the Cross, Catholicism

Bible Overview and the Old Testament

Looking at Jesus in the Gospels

The Nicene Creed and central beliefs

Church tour and Prayer
